On behalf of Eta Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, we would like to welcome you to the 58th Annual Debutante Ball Season: Grace and Grandeur: A Celebration of Black Excellence and Elegance

The Eta Gamma Omega Debutante Ball has a long history of guiding young women to develop skills in etiquette, financial literacy, the arts, health and leadership, while cultivating and developing relationships with their peers.  This historic legacy event began in 1962 when members of Eta Gamma Omega created the signature event in Sacramento. This event assisted the organization in providing resources to the community through the Oak Park Preschool, as well as supporting various other programs.  Additionally, the Debutante Ball has provided scholarship funds to support local high school and college students in the Sacramento area.

Over the decades, the Debutante Ball has grown to be one of Sacramento’s premier social events widely supported by the greater Sacramento metropolitan area.  The six-month Season brings together young ladies and gentlemen, to learn, grow and become lifelong friends.  We look forward to working with this year’s class throughout the 2024 Debutante Ball Season: making this a memorable occasion for your entire family.

Warmly,
